I've been reading articles about Jerry Falwell for the last hour or so, and really all I can conclude from it is that religion is the root of most of the world's problems, fundamentalist Christians are attempting to set humanity back hundreds of years, and Jerry Falwell is a vile, disgusting human being. I've come to the realization then when I read about religion, the thought that any of it might be true never even enters my mind, I treat it as complete fiction, and I'm actually relieved that I feel that way.
